By Katyayani Joshi:

ED VoxPop is where we ask people different survey questions and get responses to conduct sort of a poll of our own.

When your favourite artist announces a concert in your city, does not attending make you less of a fan? For many, concerts are the ultimate experience-an electrifying space where you scream lyrics with thousands of others.

But what about those who can’t attend due to money, location, or just personal preference? Does streaming every song, following every update, and defending them in Twitter wars not count?

We asked Gen Z fans whether attending a concert is the ultimate test of fandom, and their answers were as diverse as their playlists.

Clearly, fandom means different things to different people. While some believe that attending concerts is the ultimate way to show love, others argue that true devotion lies in knowing every detail about an artist’s work, even if you can’t physically be there. In an era where music is accessible at our fingertips, maybe the true test of fandom isn’t you experience it but deeply it resonates with you.
